Alise Roberts was born in Bellevue, Washington as third generation to the Seattle area. As the second oldest of 11 children Alise learned the value of team work from an early age. After starting her career in real estate over 15 years ago, she assembled a team of her own so she could focus on giving each of her clients the service they need and deserve. She surrounded herself with kind, courteous and passionate people dedicated to excellence in client satisfaction.
“We never think of what we do as sales,” she expresses. “We do not sell or push people on homes or as to why they should work with us. We build relationships on honesty and trust. We listen to our clients, we get to know them, then we help them achieve their goals.”
If you ask Alise what her favorite part of this business is, without hesitation she will answer, “Getting to know my clients. Understanding who they are on a personal level. What are their likes and dislikes? Why are they selling or buying? It is key for me to know this information so I can give them good advice… I enjoy learning about who they are, what they are trying to accomplish and then helping them in any way possible.”
It is this kind of service that has pushed Alise to be tops in her field. You will find that most of her business comes from past clients who are happy to refer her services to their friends and family. This has placed her as one of the top agents in the region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana).
You will find that although she loves getting to know her clients personally, she also takes a lot of pride in what she is able to offer them. She continues to stay on top of the latest trends, regulations and requirements that influence the real estate market. Alise has achieved the ABR® (Accredited Buyer Representative), ASP (Accredited Staging Professional), and the prestigious CRS® (Certified Residential Specialist) designations. These require rigorous educational and production to attain. Only 4% of agents hold the CRS designation yet they represent 25% of all real estate nationwide! Alise has also been recently added into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2007!
When Alise isn’t out helping others with their real estate needs you will find her spending time with her husband and their 10-year old son at their favorite spot… HOME!
Meet Bethanie

Buyer Specialist
- Acquired Designations: ABR, ASP
- 12+ years in the real estate with extensive background in mortgage lending and customer service.
From the moment Bethanie could talk, she was deemed a “people-person”. She loves helping others and this eventually lead her into the real estate industry. Bethanie started her career over 12 years ago working as a receptionist for a real estate sign posting company. After several short months she realized she most enjoyed the customer service side of things and she decided the real estate/mortgage industry was right where she wanted to be. It was here that she could put her superior customer service skills to work helping buyers through all the intricacies of the loan process.
“I truly enjoy working with people,” Bethanie remarks. “Customer service has always been a priority for me. Whether it’s a phone conversation or a face-to-face appointment, I want people to feel they have been genuinely listened to and their questions and concerns have been readily taken care of.”
Within the first few moments of meeting her, it is apparent that customer service really is Bethanie’s true passion. Her positive attitude and can-do spirit bubble forth from her lively personality. She feels that this ingredient is the most important factor of her business and you will never see her without a smile on her face! She also feels it is absolutely vital to keep the lines of communication open between her and her clients so that she can truly understand how to help them best.
Most of Bethanie’s business comes from past clients who say that it’s her smile and “can-do” attitude that make a difference. “It may not solve everything, but it definitely helps,” she says. When challenges come up, you have to approach things with a positive attitude and work together to find a solution. That’s how things get done… and get done right.”
When Bethanie isn’t helping others make their goal of home ownership a reality she enjoys taking in the sights of downtown Seattle or enjoying various outdoor activities such as camping and wakeboarding with her husband and two children.
Meet Stacie

Buyer Specialist
With a long history in customer service coupled with her background in the construction and building of homes, Stacie is a natural fit in the real estate industry. Her husband has owned and operated a building and remodeling company for many years. They have even enjoyed constructing their own family homes to reside in. This gives Stacie a real passion for helping buyers find just the right place when it comes their own checklist of needs and wants for a home. “I am dedicated to offering the utmost care and personal attention to my clients,” Stacie remarks. “Having been through the buying, selling and even building process many times myself, I know how important it is to have confidence in the agent you are working with. It’s absolutely vital they have your best interests at heart!” It’s this experience and passion that drives Stacie to help her clients in the fullest capacity.
We find that buyers especially appreciate Stacie’s consistency to listen, her patient attitude and her one-on-one attention. “You can really tell she is listening when you talk,” one of her clients comment. “That’s important when you are looking for a home to purchase that will likely be the place you reside for many years to come.”
Alise adds, “It is that very thing that most folks in sales lack. Many real estate agents come off just wanting to get the sale over with so they can get paid. Our team prides itself in never making it about that—it’s always about our buyer and what is best for them. Stacie is a true asset to our team in that regard.”
When Stacie isn’t out helping buyers, you’ll find her nurturing her own family including her 13 year old son and 11 year old twins—another contributing factor to Stacie’s enduring qualities!
Meet Matt

Buyer Specialist
Matt’s love for real estate started when he was just barely old enough to swing a hammer. He was born into a family of contractors and his father built homes for a living. When he was 8 years old they built their own family home which Matt and his 4 siblings were raised in. “It’s still that special haven I love to return to while visiting my parents with my own family now,” Matt says. “That secure feeling I get when I go home is what I love about helping people find the perfect home for themselves… everyone should have that opportunity, that special place.” This passion motivates Matt to help his buyers determine what they really need and want for their own future home. Once they have determined what exactly that is, you’ll find he will leave no stone unturned in quest for that treasure.
Matt has over 25 years in the construction and electrical industry. He worked managing projects from start to finish, overseeing all the various details as a project overseer as well as working hands on. “This knowledge and experience comes in handy and greatly contributes to our team’s expertise,” Alise says. “It’s wonderful to have a team member with so much experience in the building industry. It really gives us an edge and contributes to the overall value we give to our clients. It’s all very exciting!”
You will find that Matt’s confident, positive attitude is extremely refreshing to be around while his diligence and determination to find the perfect home add just the right mix to the home-buying process. The entire team is motivated by his can-do attitude and the motto he lives by to “work until we get it done right!”
When Matt isn’t out turning over stones to find the perfect home he knows exists for his new client, you’ll find him relaxing at his own little haven with his wife and 2 boys.
Meet Kailee
[prounounced Ky-lee but we all like to call her Kai (Ky)]
Team Manager
You probably won’t meet Kailee face-to-face as she works behind the scenes at Alise Roberts & Company. But as soon as soon as your transaction is put together you will notice her presence. As the transaction manager, Kailee’s goal is to make sure you experience a stress-free closing.
Since Kailee doesn’t spend her days in the field, she is available for your calls and emails. She also handles many of the questions from lenders, appraisers, escrow companies, title companies and other agents or vendors who need information on your listing or purchase. As a licensed managing broker in Washington state and many years behind her belt, Kailee is familiar with all the addendums and disclosures that can change during the course of your transaction. Kailee keeps up-to-date on new laws and regulations so you can be confident your transaction is in skilled hands.
“This ensures a smooth transaction for our clients,” comments Alise. “She handles all the behind-the-scene items that you will likely never know are there. We call it the ‘40-steps to a smooth closing’. This makes it so small issues don’t become big problems later on down the line.”
Kailee takes a lot of pride in addressing the individual needs of Alise’s clients. “We’ve had clients call in a panic from the furniture store, desperate to know if there was any way we could get them a measurement for a wall or window” she recalls “They are always pleasantly surprised when we can ‘save the day’ with an answer on something like that.
The last couple years, a large part of Kailee’s day is spent on the phone with banks negotiating lower payoffs for short sales. Alise and Kailee have developed a system that they truly feel is unmatched in managing short sales effectively. Kailee is sympathetic to the struggle homeowners dealing with this situation face. “One thing I can tell you with a certainty, is that being upside down in your home and struggling to make payments is nothing to be ashamed of. We are working dozens of these every month- every story is different, and every story touches me.” Kailee states. “There’s so many people affected by the economic downturn and they –we all- deserve to go through it with dignity and work together towards a fresh start.”
As the oldest of 11 children, and after having raised 6 of her own, Kailee is used to multi-tasking and finding workable solutions. No matter how well planned, it seems there’s always something that comes up, and her goal is to make sure YOU don’t have to worry about it. “Being organized doesn’t come naturally to most people”, she says “It takes deliberate and focused attention to achieve consistently good results.”
After 35 years in Seattle, Kailee and her family decided to pursue a slower lifestyle and relocated to the Okanogan Valley in Northeast Washington. When she’s not working, Kailee enjoys fishing, hiking, river rafting and organic gardening. With four teenagers still at home, there’s seldom a quiet moment- and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Meet Rob
Marketing Manager
Rob Kammeyer joined the Alise Roberts Team early in 2011, after 5 years in residential real estate. While he enjoyed success as a solo agent, he also witnessed a dramatic shift in what the needs of his clients were as the economy stumbled the last few years.
“There’s more to it than just opening doors and writing contracts now,” Rob states. “Every client has unique needs. Being able to address those, thoroughly and professionally, is of utmost importance.”
Rob felt that in order to truly represent clients with “5 star service” it would require a powerful and comprehensive marketing campaign for sellers, and the ability to keep abreast of the rapidly changing buyer’s market. Rob took the helm of the marketing department at Alise Roberts and Co, and his commitment to consistency and quality was an instant fit.
“Rob is in charge of the nuts and bolt of marketing every single home we sell,” Explains Alise. “Even before it’s on the market, he is a great point of contact for the sellers. He books the professional photo shoots, coordinates with the graphic designer, ad copyist, printer, sign installer…you name it, he keeps them all going like clockwork.”
Once a home is on the market, Rob tracks all showings, obtains feedback from agents and buyers and keeps the seller informed on a weekly basis of the results of the marketing. He tracks trends and the competing homes for every single listing.
Alise continues, “No matter how much homework we do prior to listing a home, there can be curveballs. In this selling climate, a homeowner can’t afford to “test the market” with an overpriced home. If our marketing machine is not generating showings, we need to figure out why and make an adjustment. There are still neighborhoods in the Puget sound where homes are decreasing in value every month. We can’t have our sellers chasing the market, it’s simply not fair to them.”
It’s not all doom and gloom, though. Rob is proud to be part of a team with such a stellar success rate.
“In a market where over 50% of the listed homes do not sell, we are closing over 94% of the homes we list. Those numbers are a huge reason to be part of a team like this.”
Rob prides himself on being a good communicator. He likes to joke that being raised with three sisters and having three daughters of his own, he really didn’t have a choice. He and his family have called the Okanogan Valley home for over 25 years. He and his wife volunteer regularly in the community and when he’s not working, you are likely to find him fishing, hiking or completing a home improvement project. Prior to his real estate career, Rob was in the building industry, and he still enjoys putting those talents to work.
